Thanks to the hard work of our new College/University
Division Chair Dennis Wemm, WVTC will held its
first ever undergraduate theatre auditions for
prospective theatre students from high schools all over
the state during the 2007 West Virginia Theatre
Conference. Students from Braxton County,
Jefferson, and Pocahontas Counties participated in the
new college/university auditions. They auditioned for
representatives from Davis and Elkins College, Fairmont
State University, West Virginia University, and West
Virginia Wesleyan College. After students presented a
60-second audition piece, they were able to meet
privately with each school for about ten minutes. All
reported a positive experience and we're definitely on
for next year!
